And on the regulatory front, TikTok has agreed to pay four hundred million dollars to settle federal charges that it collected personal data from children without parental notification or consent. It is one of the largest children's privacy settlements on record and arrives as scrutiny of platform data practices continues to intensify across Washington. The resolution does not require an admission of wrongdoing, but the dollar figure alone signals prosecutors were serious about making an example here.
