Klay Thompson is heading to South Beach, and the move makes a lot of sense. After the Dallas Mavericks buyout, Thompson bypassed the Lakers and his former Warriors to sign with Miami, giving the Heat the floor spacing they desperately needed after landing Giannis Antetokounmpo. That roster is suddenly very dangerous.
Shifting to Seattle, the Seahawks got some rough news out of joint practice Friday. Wide receiver Jake Bobo went down with what coach Mike Macdonald described as a serious knee injury during the session against the Titans. No official diagnosis yet, but the tone coming out of that press conference was not encouraging for Bobo or the Seattle offense heading into camp.
And over in the WNBA, Azzi Fudd is giving the internet exactly what it wants. The Dallas Wings guard went viral after cameras caught her courtside reaction to teammate Paige Bueckers — a look so expressive, so perfectly timed, fans couldn't stop replaying it. Bueckers and Fudd have been must-watch all season, and apparently even off the ball, the entertainment value does not stop.
