Von Miller is heading home. The eight-time Pro Bowler and two-time Super Bowl champion has agreed to terms with the Dallas Cowboys, per ESPN's Adam Schefter. Miller, who grew up in DeSoto, Texas, unofficially confirmed the move himself by posting a graphic of himself in Cowboys gear on social media. A long time coming.
And Dallas isn't done building that defense. While the Miller deal was coming together, ESPN's Jeremy Fowler reports the Cowboys have been exploring the free-agent cornerback market, with former Eagles starter Adoree' Jackson emerging as a serious name to watch. Jackson played under new Cowboys defensive coordinator Vic Fangio in Philadelphia, which makes that connection hard to ignore.
Shifting to the desert, Arizona Cardinals rookie running back Jeremiyah Love is dealing with a high ankle sprain after logging twenty-three snaps Thursday against the Las Vegas Raiders. Sources told Schefter the first-year back is unlikely to suit up for the rest of the preseason. Not the start Love or the Cardinals were hoping for heading into the regular season.
