Meanwhile, a new AI security coalition is drawing attention less for who joined and more for who didn't. Nvidia, Microsoft, SpaceX, and over thirty other companies have formed the Open Secure AI Alliance to build open source safety tools — but OpenAI, Google, and Anthropic are all absent. That's a notable gap, given that the alliance was partly prompted by a recent breach involving an OpenAI agent.
And in an arms race that never seems to slow down, Microsoft is claiming its new cybersecurity model MDASH outperforms both Claude Mythos and GPT-five-point-six Sol on security benchmarks.
