The Golden State Warriors may be pivoting hard in free agency. Reports out of Sporting News suggest the Warriors are bracing for the possibility that LeBron James does not come to the Bay, and they have a six-time All-Star, future Hall of Famer waiting in the wings on a deal worth three hundred and five million dollars. The backup plan, it turns out, is no consolation prize.
Draymond Green is not staying quiet about any of it. After NBA Commissioner Adam Silver made a public statement on LeBron's free agency situation, Green fired back with a pointed message aimed directly at the league office. When Draymond talks, the room listens, and right now he is making sure Silver knows exactly where he stands.
Over in Los Angeles, the Lakers are working the phones on a three-team deal that would move Dalton Knecht and Jarred Vanderbilt out of Hollywood in exchange for an eighty-eight million dollar two-way veteran — someone Luka Doncic has apparently been pushing for. Whether this trade gets done or falls apart at the seams, the Lakers are clearly not standing still this offseason.
That's your play-by-play. Sports Desk, back to the booth.
