Shifting from crypto to ink, of all things — HP India has been fined the equivalent of fourteen point four million dollars by the Competition Commission of India for facilitating a cartel among its own resellers. The regulator found that HP coordinated pricing on PCs and printers, partly to discourage resellers from stocking counterfeit cartridges. It's a small fine for a company HP's size, but the underlying story is a damning one.
