Alexander Zverev is on a historic run. The German star punched his ticket to the Wimbledon final on Friday, and if he wins, he'll be holding back-to-back Grand Slam titles after his French Open triumph just a month ago. That is elite-level tennis right now, and Centre Court is his stage.
Speaking of Wimbledon, the other semifinal between Novak Djokovic and Jannik Sinner had all the makings of an instant classic. Two of the sport's biggest names trading blows on the grass in what's being described as an epic affair. Whoever comes out of that one will have earned every inch of that final.
And off the court, a legal win for Terrion Arnold. The former Detroit Lions cornerback was in a Florida courtroom on Friday, and a judge ruled he does not need to wear a GPS tracker as a condition of his release. That clears the way for Arnold to work out with NFL teams as he tries to land back on a roster.
That's your play-by-play. Sports Desk, back to the booth.
