The New York Knicks pulled off something that will be talked about for a long time. Down twenty-nine points in the third quarter of NBA Finals Game Four, New York clawed all the way back against San Antonio, and it was OG Anunoby tipping in the winning basket after a Josh Hart miss to seal the steal. Mike Francesa said it best — this is exactly why sports exists.
Speaking of stars, the Knicks comeback has everyone talking, including Olympic gymnast Suni Lee, who reacted to Anunoby's heroics with a single word online. Fans immediately started speculating about the two, though Lee has been clear they're just friends. Still, New York is riding an incredible wave right now, and everybody wants a piece of it.
Shifting to the NFL, Andy Reid addressed Patrick Mahomes' status and kept it characteristically calm, saying he thinks things will be fine going forward. No alarm bells in Kansas City, which is exactly what you'd expect from Reid. Meanwhile in Atlanta, the Falcons are handing out big money to key pieces, and Kyle Pitts appears to be on his way out as the cap math simply stops working in his favor.
That's your play-by-play. Sports Desk, back to the booth.
