The New York Knicks are dealing with a significant blow heading into the NBA Finals — center Mitchell Robinson has suffered a broken right pinkie finger, and sources tell ESPN there is currently no timetable for his return. Losing Robinson in the paint at this stage of the postseason is a serious problem for New York, and the clock is ticking.
Shifting to the NFL, Nick Bosa is giving the San Francisco faithful reason to exhale. The defensive end says he is far along in his recovery from a torn ACL and is targeting a return at the start of training camp or shortly after. Bosa called it progress, with the caveat that no setbacks get in the way between now and then.
And in baseball, Ronald Acuña Junior reminded everyone exactly what he's capable of — launching a grand slam over the Green Monster in the sixth inning as the Atlanta Braves demolished the Boston Red Sox ten to two. Chris Sale added eight strikeouts in five innings against his former club, and Atlanta walked out of Fenway looking every bit like a team that means business.
