The New Orleans Saints are staring down one of the tougher early-season schedules in the NFL. After opening on the road in Detroit, they turn right around and head to M&T Bank Stadium to face Baltimore in Week two of the two thousand twenty six season. Two road games to open the year against physical, battle-tested teams — that's a real statement test for this Saints roster right out of the gate.
Shifting to the transfer market, and Liverpool and Paris Saint-Germain are both making serious moves for nineteen-year-old Yan Diomande. Transfer insider Fabrizio Romano reports that both clubs have already opened direct talks with the midfielder's camp. RB Leipzig want to hold on to him, but with that kind of elite-level interest knocking at the door, a big-money exit this summer looks increasingly difficult to avoid.
And over in baseball, Kansas City's Bobby Witt Junior keeps getting labeled with a so-called slow start — but the numbers tell a different story. The Royals shortstop has been among the best hitters in the game this season, and the early-season noise around his performance simply doesn't hold up under scrutiny. This kid is locked in, and Kansas City knows it.
