Oklahoma City had no answer Sunday night as the San Antonio Spurs leveled the Western Conference Finals at two games apiece. The Thunder turned in arguably their worst offensive showing in years, and San Antonio's defensive scheme was the story — ditching the double teams on SGA, locking down the shooters, and making OKC look completely lost. This series just got a whole lot more interesting.
Over in the Premier League, West Ham United are down and out after a brutal final day. The Hammers beat Leeds three-nil at the London Stadium, but that wasn't enough — they needed Everton to do them a favor against Spurs, and Spurs had other plans, winning one-nil to secure their own survival. David Moyes guided his former club to safety and sent his current one down. That's a painful footnote to a difficult chapter at West Ham.
And staying with Tottenham, Roberto De Zerbi didn't hold back after the final whistle, stating bluntly that only twelve Spurs players are good enough to remain at the club. Three home wins all season, ten home defeats, and yet somehow still in the top flight. Survival without momentum is still survival, but De Zerbi clearly has a major rebuild in mind.
