You're tuned into Sports Desk, let's get into it.
Oklahoma City evens things up at one apiece after Shai Gilgeous-Alexander reminded everyone why he's the MVP, dropping thirty points in a dominant one twenty two to one thirteen win over San Antonio. The Thunder looked like themselves again, and this series is very much alive.
But the injury news out of that game is where things get complicated. Both teams walked away hurt. Dylan Harper left with a right hamstring injury for the Spurs, who are already playing without De'Aaron Fox. And Oklahoma City's Jalen Williams didn't return in the second half after reporting tightness in his left hamstring. Two stars, two hamstrings, one series that just got a whole lot more uncertain.
Meanwhile on the ice, the Golden Knights drew first blood against Colorado, taking Game One of the Western Conference finals four to two. Carter Hart was the story, turning aside thirty six shots in a controlled, confident performance. Dylan Coghlan chipped in his first career playoff goal, and Vegas looked sharp from puck drop. The Avalanche have work to do.
That's your play-by-play. Sports Desk, back to the booth.
