The goal is straightforward — make tanking less attractive by restructuring how those top picks are awarded.
Meanwhile in Miami, De'Von Achane is getting paid. The Dolphins running back reportedly agreed to a four-year extension worth up to sixty-eight million dollars, per Ian Rapoport of NFL Network. That blows past the forty-eight million James Cook secured in Buffalo last offseason, and it sends a clear message — Miami is building around Achane for the long haul.
And in the desert, Golden Knights defenseman Brayden McNabb won't be available Thursday night when Vegas hosts Anaheim in Game six. The NHL handed McNabb a one-game suspension for an interference hit on Ducks forward Ryan Poehling.
