You're locked in to Sports Desk, let's get into it.
Erik Spoelstra isn't losing sleep over Doc Rivers. After Rivers used his appearance on the Bill Simmons Podcast to take some pointed shots at Giannis Antetokounmpo, the Heat head coach made clear he has no interest in the noise, deflecting with the kind of calm that only comes from coaching deep into playoff runs year after year.
Across the Atlantic, RBL put on a show at home against Augsburg, and head coach Martín Demichelis got exactly the response he was looking for. Coming off a brutal three-two midweek defeat to Manchester City, his squad needed a mental reset fast, and they delivered it with a performance that keeps their stunning home form rolling right along.
And in the transfer market, Chelsea are moving quickly to lock down Levi Colwill before things get complicated. Liverpool and Barcelona are both circling the England international, and the Blues know that letting contract talks drag could turn a controllable situation into a full-blown battle for one of the most promising young defenders in the game.
That's your play-by-play. Sports Desk, back to the booth.
