Formula One's financial picture is steadying after a turbulent stretch. Cancelled rounds in Bahrain and Saudi Arabia hammered revenue by thirty-eight percent over the second quarter of two thousand twenty six, but the sport's parent company reports stabilisation heading into Q three, signalling the calendar chaos is finally behind them.
Staying in Formula One, and the story everyone is talking about — Kimi Antonelli is a world champion. The young Italian sealed the title on the Mexico Grand Prix podium, lifted by none other than Lewis Hamilton and Max Verstappen, and he's already locked in. Antonelli told media his preparation for two thousand twenty seven begins immediately, which tells you everything about the mentality that got him here.
And on the ice, Adrian Kempe put on a show. The Los Angeles Kings forward buried a hat trick in a seven to two demolition of San Jose, and now the Kings host the Pittsburgh Penguins on Saturday night. Los Angeles sits five and seven and two overall and will be looking to build momentum on home ice against a Penguins side that's struggling at five and nine and two.
That's your play-by-play. Sports Desk, back to the booth.
