You're locked in with Sports Desk, let's get after it.
Quenton Nelson is trading blue for blue and green, and he could not sound more ready. The eight-time Pro Bowl guard spent eight-plus seasons building his legacy in Indianapolis, but Nelson says the move to Seattle feels like a genuine new opportunity, and the excitement in his voice makes it hard to argue with him.
Meanwhile in Green Bay, the Packers front office is probably having a very uncomfortable Sunday. Rookie kicker Trey Smack missed yet another PAT against the Panthers, hitting the left upright and pushing his missed kicks on the season to eight. Green Bay stuck with him after a brutal performance against Detroit last week, and right now that loyalty is not paying dividends. The Packers lead Carolina six to three, but the kicking game is a live grenade.
And in the NFC East, CeeDee Lamb is calling it crazy, and honestly, what else do you say? The Arizona Cardinals have now won four straight against Dallas and eight of the last nine matchups. Jacoby Brissett is three and sixteen over two seasons in Arizona, and somehow one of those wins came against the Cowboys. Dallas has not beaten the Cardinals since September of two thousand seventeen.
That's your play-by-play. Sports Desk, back to the booth.
