You're locked in to Sports Desk, let's get after it.
Green Bay is furious after a loss in Detroit, and the Packers aren't holding back. Multiple players called out the officiating crew Sunday, pointing specifically to roughing the passer penalties that have haunted this team all season long. When those flags keep flying at critical moments, frustration boils over fast, and right now Green Bay's locker room is at a full boil.
Meanwhile, the Thunder took a gut punch in Oklahoma City. Guard Jalen Williams went down hard against the Clippers Sunday, suffering what the team is calling a significant injury to his left leg. Williams was stretchered off the floor, and for a Thunder squad with real championship aspirations this season, losing him for any stretch of time would be a serious blow to their ceiling.
And the injury news kept coming out of the NBA. Orlando Magic guard Jalen Suggs was helped off the floor late in the fourth quarter against New York Sunday with an apparent non-contact knee injury. Non-contact is never the word you want to hear with a knee, and the Magic faithful are holding their breath tonight waiting on any further word from the organization.
That's your play-by-play. Sports Desk, back to the booth.
