Good morning and welcome to Markets Desk.
KeyBanc is standing firm on Amazon with an Overweight rating and a three hundred fifty dollar price target, and the thesis goes well beyond cloud dominance. The firm sees Amazon Web Services growing thirty eight percent year over year, a tick ahead of consensus, with artificial intelligence expanding the structural edge AWS already holds over rivals.
Shifting to crypto markets, Ethereum staking has hit a record with forty three point eight million ETH now locked up, representing nearly thirty six percent of total supply. But yields have compressed to two point six three percent, signaling that demand is maturing even as Solana staking also reached a record four hundred forty point five million SOL, according to Bitwise.
Meanwhile, the tokenized stock space is running into corporate resistance. Alphabet and Microsoft have formally objected to the OKX and ICE proposed platform for tokenized equities, and roughly twenty five percent of the US-listed companies included in the initial proposal are seeking to opt out, raising real questions about whether institutional adoption of tokenized assets can outpace institutional skepticism.
That's the tape. Markets Desk, signing off the floor.
