Tennessee made back-to-back trades to get their guy, landing linebacker Anthony Hill out of Texas at pick sixty overall, giving up a third and a fifth to get there. The Titans are building something aggressive in Nashville. Meanwhile, Buffalo traded up to secure cornerback Davison Igbinosun, shoring up a secondary that needs to keep pace with the AFC's best offenses. The draft board keeps churning and the Broncos, interestingly, still haven't made a selection.
Shifting to the biggest international headline in recent NFL memory — the Ravens and Cowboys are headed to Rio de Janeiro on September twenty-seventh for the league's very first game in Brazil. Maracanã Stadium, one of the most iconic venues on the planet, will host Baltimore and Dallas in what promises to be a genuinely historic moment for the sport. CBS and Paramount Plus will carry it.
And out west, hockey history gets made Friday night as Salt Lake City hosts its very first NHL playoff game. The Utah Mammoth welcome the Golden Knights for Game Three of their West series, and the energy in that building figures to be something the league hasn't quite seen before from that market.
