Bill Belichick picked up a milestone win in Chapel Hill Saturday, as North Carolina knocked off number twenty-five Pittsburgh. Billy Edwards Junior broke the game open with a seventy-five-yard touchdown strike in the second half, giving Belichick his first victory over a ranked opponent as the Tar Heels head coach. Not a bad way to silence some doubters.
Shifting to the ice, the New York Rangers may have a very unusual solution to their goaltending crisis. ESPN's Emily Kaplan reports that forty-year-old Jonathan Quick, who retired after last season, is now being explored as a potential comeback option for New York. Quick is reportedly comfortable in retirement but the door isn't fully closed, and with the Rangers banged up between the pipes, they need answers fast.
And on the injury front heading into Monday Night Football, Bills wide receiver DJ Moore is listed as questionable with a shoulder injury after practicing in a red non-contact jersey Saturday. Head coach Joe Brady confirmed Moore will make the trip to Los Angeles, so there's still hope he suits up against the Rams, but it's far from certain he'll be a full go.
