Carolina is making some serious noise today. The Panthers pulled ahead of Detroit twenty-nine to nineteen after Chuba Hubbard punched in his second touchdown of the afternoon, capping a drive that started with Tetairoa McMillan's second scoring grab giving Carolina a twenty-two to sixteen edge. The rookie receiver is turning heads fast.
Meanwhile in Kansas City, the Chiefs got their win over Las Vegas thirty to twenty-seven, but they're walking away with a significant injury concern. Wide receiver Tyquan Thornton dislocated his ankle and is now out indefinitely, which suddenly makes that reported interest in a Tyreek Hill reunion feel a whole lot more urgent. Kansas City moving fast on that front could reshape the AFC picture entirely.
And in the desert, the Cardinals are still processing a gut-punch finish that left Michael Wilson, Jacoby Brissett, and Marvin Harrison Junior sitting in silence, heads down, jerseys still dirty. Arizona's final drive collapsed in stunning fashion in East Rutherford, leaving three young players staring at the floor trying to make sense of a game that slipped right through their hands.
That's your play-by-play. Sports Desk, back to the booth.
