Joel Embiid is listed as questionable for Game three tonight as the Philadelphia seventy-sixers host the New York Knicks, and the stakes could not be higher. The Knicks lead this Eastern Conference Semifinals series two games to none, and Embiid is still battling right hip soreness that kept him out of Game two entirely. A game-time decision, with Philly's season hanging in the balance.
Shifting to the hardwood on the other side of the bracket, Oklahoma City rolled past the Los Angeles Lakers one hundred twenty-five to one hundred seven in Game two, putting the Thunder up two games to none in the Western Conference Semifinals. New bloodwork and testing led his doctors to conclude that high doses of creatine were the culprit behind those mysterious and sometimes debilitating episodes. Peterson is a projected top NBA draft pick, and this news should ease some concerns heading into the draft process.
