Some of the biggest names in AI are joining forces to solve one of the industry's most pressing bottlenecks. Google, Nvidia, and Anthropic have teamed up with a company called Emerald AI in a push to find one hundred gigawatts of grid capacity for new data centers. The EU Kids Act would bar anyone under thirteen from using these platforms entirely, reflecting a growing consensus among policymakers that the current system puts too much responsibility on parents and not enough on the platforms themselves.
