OKC looked composed, physical, and completely in control.
The Lakers, though, weren't going quietly. After the final buzzer, Austin Reaves led a full-on confrontation with the officiating crew at midcourt — something you almost never see at this level. Coach JJ Redick went further, publicly declaring that LeBron James receives the worst whistle of any star player in the league. Strong words, and whether it fires the team up or becomes a distraction, Los Angeles needs answers fast.
Shifting to the ice, Philadelphia is in serious trouble. The Flyers dropped Game Three to Carolina Thursday night, falling to the brink of elimination. Penalties piled up, the Hurricanes' penalty kill was airtight, and Philadelphia's frustration with officiating only compounded their own costly mistakes. They need a response or their postseason run ends very soon.
