In Pflugerville last night, top-ranked Lake Travis put on a show in their delayed season opener, dismantling the Weiss Wolves thirty-eight to twenty-one. The Cavaliers were physical up front all night, with defensive lineman Austin Doane setting the tone early and often, and the Lake Travis offense never let Weiss find its footing. A dominant statement win to open the year.
Shifting to Miami, sophomore wide receiver Malachi Toney is making Heisman noise after absolutely torching Stanford in the Hurricanes' rout of the Cardinal.
