Shein made its long-awaited public debut in Hong Kong on Tuesday, and the reception was anything but warm. And on the commodity boards to close out August, lean hog futures rallied as much as one dollar eighty-five at midday, even as the CME Lean Hog Index continued to slip. Corn futures also pushed modestly higher, up one to three and a half cents, with the national cash corn average climbing back to four dollars ninety-three and a half. Live cattle rounded out the month with gains of up to ninety-five cents, and the August contract expired at two hundred twenty dollars and seventy-five cents.
That's the tape. Markets Desk, signing off the floor.
