The Celtics president says Jaylen Brown has not expressed any frustrations with the organization directly to him, but that's a carefully worded answer after a brutal first-round exit. A three-one lead, gone, against a seven-seed Philly squad that had never pulled off that comeback. Brown's future in green is very much a conversation worth watching.
Meanwhile in the heavyweight division of the UFC, Luke Rockhold is not holding back about how he feels about Sean Strickland. Rockhold, who's in Khamzat Chimaev's corner for UFC three twenty eight this Saturday in Newark, called Strickland a piece of something we can't say on air. The two had history going back to a two thousand twenty one booking that never happened. Now Chimaev gets the shot, and Rockhold is making sure the bad blood stays hot heading into fight night.
Over in New York, the Giants reportedly turned down what they considered a disrespectful offer from the New Orleans Saints for pass rusher Kayvon Thibodeaux. New York isn't giving that edge rusher away cheap, and apparently New Orleans didn't come close to meeting that bar.
