Aaron Donald is back, and the NFL is on notice. The legendary defensive tackle has come out of retirement, signing a one-year, twenty million dollar deal to rejoin the Los Angeles Rams. Donald hasn't played in two seasons, but with a loaded roster around him, the Rams are treating this like a genuine Super Bowl push — and nobody's laughing at that idea.
Meanwhile, the injury news out of Cleveland is significant for fantasy players and Browns fans alike. Quarterback Dillon Gabriel has been placed on injured reserve with a back injury, though he carries a designation to return. That window gives the Browns some flexibility, but for now, Gabriel is out and Cleveland has to navigate without him early in the season.
And in boxing, twenty-one-year-old Moses Itauma walked into London's O2 Arena with a chance to become the youngest heavyweight world champion since Mike Tyson — and walked out with a stunning ninth-round stoppage loss to Filip Hrgovic. The IBF heavyweight title went to Hrgovic, and Itauma, to his credit, says he's using this as fuel going forward.
