Fire data courtesy of NASA FIRMS (LANCE). Default view shows presumed
vegetation fires; low-confidence detections and known static heat sources (industry, gas flares,
volcanoes) are filtered. Pins mark each tracked fire's earliest satellite detection β an
approximation of the start point to within roughly a kilometre, not a confirmed ignition
location. Fires go inactive after 72 h without new detections.

model output and may differ from on-the-ground conditions. Routes end near satellite detection
points, not verified fire perimeters, and ignore closures. This service is provided for general
